1. Who we are

TalkToYou is an online language education service operated by [법인명] ("Company"), a company registered in the Republic of Korea ([사업자등록번호], [주소], contact: [이메일]).

2. What we provide

We provide live 1:1 Korean language lessons via video call, taught through structured roleplay scenarios, plus related learning materials.

TalkToYou is an educational service only. It is not a dating, matchmaking, companionship, or social introduction service. Roleplay scenarios are teaching content performed by trained tutors.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use the service. By signing up you confirm your date of birth is accurate. We may suspend accounts that misrepresent age.

4. Bookings, rescheduling & refunds

• Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before a session.
• Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable (one courtesy reschedule is offered for your first occurrence).
• If a tutor fails to attend or a session falls materially short of our standards, you receive a full refund for that session.
• Unused package sessions are refundable: we deduct completed sessions at the single-session list price and refund the balance.
• Technical failures not attributable to either party: free rebooking.

5. Code of conduct

To keep sessions safe and enjoyable for everyone, you agree not to: (a) request tutors' personal contact information or off-platform communication; (b) request or propose in-person meetings; (c) engage in sexual, harassing, discriminatory, or abusive speech or behavior; (d) record or distribute session content; (e) send gifts or money to tutors outside the platform.

Violations result in a warning; repeated or severe violations result in termination with a refund of unused sessions only. Tutors may end a session immediately in case of serious misconduct; such sessions are not refundable.

6. Session recording

Sessions are recorded for quality assurance and safety. Recordings are accessible only to authorized Company staff, are never shared with third parties, and are deleted within 90 days.

7. Intellectual property

Lesson materials, scenarios, and review cards are the Company's property, licensed to you for personal learning use only.

8. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law, including mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time; refunds follow Section 4. We may suspend or terminate accounts for conduct violations or fraud.

10. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your habitual residence remain unaffected. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion via [이메일].

11. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email 14 days in advance.
